On December 19-21, 2012，the delegation of Open University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, led by Xu Wenying，the section chief of its Research Development Office and executive editor of its Journal of urbanology Studies, came to visit Institute for Urban Studies, Hangzhou Normal University. On the morning of December 20, chaired by Professor Shi Xiangshi of Institute for Urban Studies, the two parts hold a discuss meeting. During the meeting, Professor Shixiangshi, on behalf of Institute for Urban Studies, showed warm welcome to the delegation and expressed our wishes to promote cooperation between the two universities. The section chief Xv Wenying also introduced the current development of urban studies at Open University of Kaohsiung and the growth of Center for Cultivation of New Residents Entrepreneurship in the Beautiful Island City. The talks also covered the urban issues on new rural-urban residents, community cultures, etc.
