On November 7, 2012, Director Zhang Weiliang and the researcher Zhou Shuwen, Institute for Urban Studies of HNU, went for Cangqian District of Hangzhou to make a preliminary survey for the research project “University Town and Regional Social Development”. There they investigated some local villages and the old Cangqian Street, and collect some research information by talking with the local villagers. Director Zhang Weiliang also visited the city construction &management and environmental protection department of the local government, and obtained some urban planning information about the local regional development planned by the YuHang Innovation Base.
